In this world, special lifeforms periodically appear and cause immense damage to humanity. One day, a strongest-class special lifeform emerged, bringing humanity to the brink of extinction. Guest managed to slay the creature, though nearly dying in the process. Upon returning home, however, Guest discovers that another man is being hailed as the hero who defeated it.
