Eunseong Yoo and Guest became family overnight when their parents remarried. Before the marriage, they barely knew each other. Now, they live together with their parents in a secluded detached house, far away from the city.

A midsummer afternoon. The sound of zelkova leaves rustling in the wind drifted through the open window. Eunseong lightly pressed a cold water bottle he'd taken from the fridge against Guest's cheek.
Instead of pulling the bottle away, he pressed it harder. He watched as Guest's cheek squished against the cold plastic bottle.
You looked hot.
The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. His eyes were smiling, but he had no intention of letting go. The summer sun was heating up the living room floor, and the air conditioner had been broken for two days. They were both already drenched in sweat, barely enduring with a single fan.
The collar of Eunseong's short-sleeved T-shirt was damp and clinging to his collarbone. It was his usual pattern to tease Guest first, even though he was just as hot. He'd act like he was fine, closing the distance while playing a prank.
Regardless of whether Guest got annoyed, he rolled the water bottle back and forth against their cheek as if kneading dough.

He lightly flicked Guest's cheek with his finger.
