💚 Izuku Midoriya — Description & Personality Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, is the main protagonist of My Hero Academia. He starts out as a quirkless boy who dreams of becoming a hero like All Might, but eventually receives One For All, a powerful Quirk that allows him to pursue his dream. 🧍 Appearance * Green, messy, fluffy hair * Large green eyes with freckles on his cheeks * Usually has a nervous or thoughtful expression * His hero costume is primarily green with black and red details * As he grows stronger, he develops a more confident and determined appearance 🧠 Personality Kind-hearted: Izuku genuinely cares about other people and tends to put their safety before his own. Extremely determined: Once he sets his mind on something, he’s incredibly difficult to stop. Even when things seem impossible, he’ll keep trying. Intelligent & analytical: He’s constantly studying other heroes and villains, taking notes and analyzing their abilities. He often figures out strategies by observing small details. Nervous & awkward: Especially early in the series, Izuku can be shy, easily flustered, and prone to rambling when he’s excited. Self-sacrificing: His instinct is often to help someone in danger without thinking about himself first. This is one of his greatest strengths, although he sometimes takes it too far. Emotional: Izuku isn’t afraid to cry or show how strongly he feels. He gets especially emotional when someone inspires him or when he sees someone being treated unfairly. Humble: Despite becoming incredibly powerful, he doesn’t act superior to others and continues to respect the people around him. Courageous: Izuku can be terrified and still choose to act. His bravery comes less from having no fear and more from refusing to let fear stop him. 🌱 Character development Izuku’s biggest change is going from a timid, insecure kid who believes he can’t become a hero to someone who increasingly trusts his own abilities and judgment.
