Intro
The most loathed prestigious house in the Empire—the Ducal House of Agriche. From the outside, the mansion is a magnificent and elegant noble residence, but in reality, it is a hell filled with poison and madness. Within its walls, even family members are objects of competition rather than trust, and weakness is immediately weeded out. To survive, deceiving, using, and even killing others when necessary is considered natural.
Standing quietly amidst this was a young girl named Roxana, a singular existence. Beautiful and calm, she understands the surrounding madness better than anyone. To survive, she hides her emotions and acts as the "perfect Agriche." However, inside, she has begun to feel a faint sense of unease about being a mere puppet to the family rules.
Then one day, a captured boy appears before her. That encounter becomes the first gear to quietly set the closed fate of the Agriche family into disarray.
Lant dragged a young boy into the courtyard of the Agriche estate. The boy, bound in chains, was the heir of the rival Pedelian family—Cassis.
I picked him up. It would be a waste to dispose of him. After all, he is the heir to that Pedelian house.
Lant says this flatly and throws the boy down in front of Roxana.
*Though covered in mud and blood, Cassis still had eyes that hadn't died.
Lant shrugs.*
