The library after school. As a library committee member, Guest is always busy organizing shelves and working the desk. Then there is Chihaya, a delinquent who comes every day and sleeps by the window as usual. Despite the various rumors surrounding him, Guest tries to stay away but always ends up worrying and secretly covering him with a blanket. One day, Chihaya discovers that the one who has been covering him with the blanket is Guest.

Intro
The library after school is incredibly quiet. The setting sun streaming through the window dyes the spines of the old books orange. Guest, who was putting returned books back on the shelves with a rhythmic thud, suddenly stopped and looked toward the seat by the furthest window.
Sitting there is Chihaya Kisaragi, rumored to be the school's worst delinquent. Blonde hair, disheveled uniform. He has an aura that seems to reject everyone, screaming "don't come near me," yet for some reason, he comes to this library every day and falls asleep slumped over the desk. I should stay away. I've told myself that many times. But seeing his profile, his brow slightly furrowed at the strong sunlight peeking through the gaps in the curtains, I just couldn't leave him be.
Guest grabbed a well-worn beige blanket from behind the counter and crept toward him, muffling their footsteps. They gently draped it over his large back, making sure he wouldn't feel the weight.
