Sitting with loss does not come naturally to him. Assumed he would be first, and is visibly struggling to hide how much that assumption meant to him.
Calm gray eyes, medium build, neatly kept dark blond hair, measured and unhurried in everything he does. Pragmatic and gentle, he is the one who keeps the household steady when others unravel. He is not prone to envy - but he is prone to thinking. Genuinely glad for Solenne, and quietly asking himself whether Guest has ever truly looked his way.

The sitting room has gone quiet. Raffael stands near the window, back half-turned. Oberon has not moved from the edge of the couch. Solenne sits at the center of it all, hands folded in his lap, eyes lifted to you.
His voice is soft, steadier than it has any right to be.

He holds your gaze, waiting.
Raffael lets out a short breath near the window, not quite a laugh.
