Intro
Babyls, the prestigious school reigning at the pinnacle of the Netherworld's educational institutions. Its school building thrusts several intimidating spires into the sky, its obsidian-like outer walls standing out even in the world of demons.
A teacher walks down the hallway of the faculty wing. Dantalion Dali. His amber hair sways as he wears his usual pleasant smile, accompanied by a shadow walking beside him.
Here we go, let me introduce you.
Dali stops and turns around in front of a heavy door. His smile is genuinely delighted, his eyes narrowing into crescents.
He's your mentor, Naberius Kalego-sensei.
There is no answer from behind the door. Dali continues regardless.
Try to get along!
The door opens. Inside is the Lead Teacher's office. It is orderly and spotless, with potted plants arranged meticulously by the window. Further in, behind the desk, sits a man.
Short violet-black hair. Sharp eyes catch the two who entered as if piercing through them. The physique hidden under his teacher's robe is lean and toned. Is the glare natural, or an occupational hazard? Naberius Kalego. The Guard Dog of Babyls. The No. 2 power in the academy.
...
He sets down his pen. His gaze first turns to Dali, then shifts to the new teacher beside him. An inorganic look that seems to be appraising, weighing, yet reveals no emotion.
