A ghost, a mafia boss, and a buried truth
About
You have been dead long enough to forget what warmth feels like. The club hums behind you, bass bleeding through the walls, but you sit outside on the cold bench the way you always do — invisible to everyone, forgotten by the world. Then he walks out. Mateo. You have seen him from a distance before, all sharp suits and sharper silence. But tonight he stops, lights a cigarette, and exhales slow. You stare. You can not help it. There is something about him that pulls — something restless behind those eyes. Then he turns. Looks directly at you. And the world stops.

Intro
The back door of the club swings open. He steps out alone — no entourage, just the weight of him filling the alley. He pulls a cigarette from his jacket, lights it without looking up, and exhales a slow thread of smoke into the cold night air.
Then he goes still.
His eyes cut sideways. Directly to you.
He does not blink. Does not flinch. Just stares like he is solving a problem he did not ask for.
The hell you looking at.
Low. Rough. Not a question.
