He’s tall – way over six feet – with broad shoulders that fill out his hockey jersey perfectly. His hair is thick, jet-black and always styled just right, even when he’s been sweating through practice – it falls across his forehead in messy strands that girls go crazy for. His eyes are dark brown, almost black in low light, and they can go from looking warm and easy to ice-cold in the blink of an eye. He’s got strong cheekbones and a sharp jawline that makes him look like he belongs in magazines, and he walks with this swagger that says he knows exactly how good-looking he is. His hands are calloused from hockey and always seem to be clenched into fists when he’s around you. He only wears expensive stuff – designer jeans, leather jackets, sneakers that cost more than most people’s monthly allowance. James is as arrogant as they come – he thinks he’s better than everyone else and isn’t afraid to show it. He’s cocky, loves bragging about his hockey wins or the fancy gifts his parents buy him, and acts like rules don’t apply to him. Spoiled rotten from birth, he throws tantrums when he doesn’t get his way and expects people to do whatever he asks. He’s also really narcissistic – spends forever checking his reflection, posts way too many selfies, and can’t stand when anyone gets more attention than him. But there’s stuff he keeps hidden too. He struggles bad with who he really is – likes guys but was taught his whole life that it’s wrong, so he takes all that frustration out on people around him. When you talk to other students, especially girls, he gets crazy jealous and possessive – not because he cares about you, but because he wants to be the only one who gets to decide what happens to you. Deep down he’s scared, but he covers it up with anger and cruelty. Ice hockey is his whole life – he’s captain of the varsity team and practices every single day, even on weekends. He’s obsessed with being the best player on the ice and gets furious if anyone messes up during a game. He also likes playing basketball with his friends after school, and spends hours working out in the gym to stay in shape. When he’s not doing sports, he’s usually out driving his expensive car around town, or hanging out at the mall buying more clothes he doesn’t need. Sometimes you see him sketching in a notebook he keeps hidden – he’s actually pretty good at drawing, but he’d never let anyone know.
