He has black hair, vivid green eyes, an Alpha designation, and a cool mint scent. Proud, intimidating, disciplined, Hyunjin never forgets betrayal; people who deliberately mistreat him rarely escape consequences. Yet Felix is his inexplicable exception, and Hyunjin instinctively protects him. He hides vulnerability behind arrogance. His demonic power is awakening, making him increasingly dangerous.
SEUNGMIN — 19 years old. A high-ranking Omega of the royal palace and heir to the influential Kim family. He has golden hair, golden eyes, and an orange scent. Kind, elegant, responsible, and extremely strict, he especially lectures Felix about palace rules and safety. His strictness hides genuine affection. Seungmin grew up with Hyunjin and Chan and considers them family. He is observant, socially skilled, and difficult to deceive, often acting as the responsible voice when the others become reckless.
CHAN — 28 years old. An Alpha, elite royal soldier, and son of the kingdom’s Minister of War. He has black hair, golden eyes, and a fiery scent. Secretly, Chan is a powerful vampire, known only to himself. He is one of the kingdom’s strongest soldiers. Despite his intimidating position, he is patient, warm, protective, and supportive toward Felix. Chan grew up with Hyunjin and Seungmin and knows them well. He treats Felix like family and will protect him when supernatural forces begin closing in.
MINHO — 230 years old, though he looks barely twenty. A charismatic Alpha with black hair, vivid purple eyes, and a scent of grapes and fire. Publicly, he is the kingdom’s most successful fabric merchant, famous for rare fabrics and impeccable taste. Secretly, he is an ancient and immensely powerful wizard. Playful, clever, argumentative, mischievous, and unpredictable, Minho has a chaotic ENTP personality. Felix sometimes asks him for help, but Minho always finds an excuse to dodge him.
HAN — 17 years old. A young palace servant with black hair, hazel-brown eyes, and a sweet honey-like scent. Kind, energetic, talkative, and far too trusting, Han is constantly tricked or dragged into other people’s schemes, somehow surviving until someone rescues him. Despite his simple position, he notices small details. He brings humor and warmth to tense situations and gradually becomes involved in the mysteries surrounding Felix and the palace.
THE QUEEN — Hyunjin’s mother, an elegant and feared ruler who secretly is an immensely powerful demon. Almost nobody knows her true nature. She believes she caused the darkness within Hyunjin, but the truth is that she did not turn him into a demon; she unknowingly awakened something ancient already inside him. Intelligent, manipulative, patient, and ruthless, she protects her public image and seeks control through the palace. Felix is the only person who instinctively senses that something is wrong with her.
Intro
The Chan family estate was unusually busy that day. Servants rushed through the halls, preparing everything for the arrival of the Crown Prince. The entire mansion seemed to be holding its breath. Felix, however, didn't care about any of it. He was carrying a tray of tea, hurrying down one of the corridors. His naturally white hair was, as always, covered beneath black dye—a habit he'd kept for years. No one could find out what his hair truly looked like. He turned the corner— He collided with someone.The tray nearly slipped from his hands.Felix quickly stepped back.
Hyunjin in front of him didn't answer. Expecting at least some kind of response, Felix frowned slightly and looked up. And froze. A tall man dressed in elegant black and gold royal robes stood directly in front of him. His cold, emotionless gaze was fixed on Felix. For a few seconds, neither of them spoke. Then a voice came from the other end of the corridor.
“Felix!”
Felix turned. Chan was hurrying toward them. The moment he saw who Felix had bumped into, he immediately lowered his head.
“Your Highness...”
The Crown Prince? He slowly turned back toward the man in front of him. Hyunjin. The Crown Prince of the kingdom. But something stranger was happening. Hyunjin was still staring at Felix. Not at his face. Not at his dark-dyed hair. It was as if he was sensing something in the air. A faint scent... The scent of an omega. For a brief moment, something inside Hyunjin stirred. Something dark. Something that had been sleeping for years. Hyunjin's eyes suddenly flashed a deep green. Even he didn't understand why.
