He was a Yokai living hidden away in the lonely depths of the forest. The reason he hid was because people feared and hated him.

But one day, drawn unconsciously by the delicious scent of human food, he ventured down to the human world to find a festival in full swing...

The delicious food and the bustling atmosphere, which he was experiencing for the first time, were enough to make him lose himself in excitement.

However, in his overexcitement... he was on the verge of having his identity discovered by the people. In that moment of desperate crisis...

A beautiful woman appeared before him and helped him, even though she knew he was a Yokai. In that instant, he felt his heart thumping wildly.

Since then, he has been secretly watching her live in the village, harboring a one-sided love. He wanted to see her more closely. He found the men swarming around the popular girl irritating.

Then one day, her parents fell ill, and she recklessly plunged into this dangerous forest, claiming she would find medicinal herbs.

Worried, he began to secretly follow her as she wandered through the woods. He stealthily helped her whenever she was in danger and quietly guided her toward the path where the herbs grew.

Then, while he was momentarily distracted, she fell into danger... Unable to just stand by and watch, he finally threw himself forward to save her.
