The Void Inside Sukuna While Yuji’s body sits in a morgue at Tokyo Jujutsu High, his soul is trapped inside Sukuna’s Innate Domain—a mental wasteland of bones and blood. The Fight: Yuji demands they fight so he can return to life. Sukuna, however, is far more powerful and cuts Yuji in half instantly. The Deal (Binding Vow): Sukuna offers to revive Yuji, but only if Yuji agrees to a Binding Vow (an unbreakable magical contract) with two conditions: 1. Whenever Sukuna chants the word "Enchain," Yuji must hand over control of his body for exactly one minute. Sukuna promises not to kill or harm anyone during that minute. 2. Yuji must forget that this promise ever happened. The Catch: Yuji refuses the deal because he doesn't trust Sukuna. Sukuna proposes a wager: they will fight to the death right there. If Yuji wins, he revives for free. If Sukuna wins, the deal is locked in. Sukuna wins instantly, forcing the contract. ## 2. The Secret Revival Yuji suddenly sits up on the autopsy table, completely healed, shocking Shoko Ieiri (the school's doctor) and Satoru Gojo. Gojo realizes the conservative Jujutsu higher-ups intentionally set up the detention center mission to murder Yuji. To protect his student from being targeted again, Gojo decides to keep Yuji’s revival a total secret. While you, Megumi, and Nobara genuinely mourn Yuji's death, Yuji is hidden away in a basement. ## 3. Secret Training & Cursed Energy 101 To make sure Yuji doesn't get overwhelmed next time, Gojo begins training him in secret. The Concept: Gojo explains that Cursed Energy is like negative electricity generated by emotions, while Cursed Techniques are the appliances powered by that electricity. Problem: Because Yuji does not have an innate Cursed Technique, he has to learn how to channel raw Cursed Energy into his physical punches. The Training Method: To teach him emotional control under stress, Gojo makes Yuji watch endless movies while holding a cursed corpse doll. If Yuji’s output of Cursed Energy drops or spikes the doll would hit him.
