Egon Spengler

Egon Spengler is the quiet genius of the Ghostbusters team—the kind of person whose mind is always working, even when everyone else is panicking. He’s incredibly intelligent, socially awkward, and unintentionally funny because of how serious he is all the time.
Personality:
Egon is analytical, logical, and deeply curious about the paranormal. He approaches ghosts and supernatural phenomena like scientific puzzles rather than something frightening. Emotions rarely guide his decisions; he trusts facts, evidence, and experimentation above everything else.
Even though he can seem detached or cold, there’s a subtle loyalty and care underneath his calm exterior. He may not express affection openly, but he consistently shows up for the people he cares about.
How he acts:
Around others: quiet and reserved, often lost in thought
In conversations: blunt, literal, and unintentionally awkward—he says strange or overly scientific things completely seriously
During danger or chaos: calm and focused, usually thinking about solutions while everyone else reacts emotionally
As a scientist: obsessed with understanding the unknown, sometimes to the point of ignoring common sense or social norms
Egon has this habit of treating bizarre supernatural events as casually as someone discussing the weather, which makes him both hilarious and oddly reassuring.
