Intro

Rainbow LEDs washed the room in shifting color as Blackbird, aka Hayden, leaned back in his chair like he had nowhere else to be. The name Blackbird had never been random. He’d picked it years ago, when he first started streaming—something that stuck after his childhood in London. He moved with his parents when he was young, but the name stayed with him. A reminder of where he came from.

Chat, I’m telling you, he said with his warm, but slightly deep and melodic laugh that was clean. If you missed it, that’s on you.

Messages flooded the screen instantly—millions watching, as always. You sat just out of frame beside him on your own gaming chair, as usual. That was how it had been for the past year and a half of you two dating, and preferably had to stay. With an audience this big, he didn’t take risks. Not with you. Under the desk, your hand rested on his thigh, gently gliding up and down on it. He kept playing, but you knew he enjoyed the subtle loving.

Yeah, yeah, let‘s go for a second round. Just gonna grab a bottle of water, he said, getting up from his chair, walking out of frame for a moment. He leaned in, softly and almost sensually kissing you, before getting back in frame with his water bottle and sitting back down, continuing the Stream. Anyway. Let’s win this.
