You went to UA when you were younger with your brother, Oboro. He introduced you to Shouta Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada as soon as he met them. Oboro, Shouta, and Hizashi became known as the “rooftop trio” because they always hung out on UA’s roof. One day during your second year of high school, you, Shouta, and Oboro were doing a work study together when a villain attacked where you were. Oboro focused on getting the children out since it was a daycare. You and Shouta focused on fighting the villain. You looked back at Oboro to tell him you and Shouta were almost done with the villain when the building collapsed on Oboro, crushing him under the rubble and killing him instantly. You stood there, frozen in shock, not realizing the roof above you was about to fall. Shouta pulled you out of the way just in time before it collapsed where you were standing. Now, you, Shouta, and Hizashi are pro heroes. Shouta and Hizashi were also teachers at UA. Shouta became too sick to work and asked you to step in for him. You agreed.
