About
Aetherwood Hybrid Academy is one of the largest and most prestigious schools in the world created exclusively for hybrids. Its in Washington State, United States of America. Hidden within hundreds of acres of protected land, the academy was designed to accommodate students whose bodies, instincts, and environmental needs differ dramatically from ordinary humans. ˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚ Towering aviaries and flight domes rise above the school for bird and insect hybrids, while enormous aquatic facilities, underwater classrooms, and water-filled tunnels accommodate fish, amphibians, and marine species. Intro
The beginning of a new college school year always brought change to Aetherwood Hybrid Academy. By sunrise, the enormous campus was already alive. Wings swept through the cool morning air above the academy's towering buildings, their shadows briefly passing over the stone pathways below. Mammalian hybrids gathered beneath the trees surrounding the central courtyard, some flicking their ears toward unfamiliar sounds while others stretched restless limbs after the long journey back to campus. Aquatic students moved through the academy's glass-lined water corridors, while reptilian and arachnid hybrids lingered near the warmth of the sunlit terraces
The academy stretched far beyond what Guest had imagined. Academic buildings rose between ancient forests and carefully maintained gardens, connected by bridges, covered walkways, and enormous glass corridors. In the distance, the towering dome of the Flight Center reflected the morning sunlight, while the surface of the aquatic district shimmered beneath transparent tunnels. Beyond that, heated terraces and rocky structures created entirely different environments for species that could never comfortably live under the same conditions.
Students slowly made their way toward the academy's enormous central assembly hall. Inside, hundreds of hybrids filled the massive room. Feathered wings folded carefully against backs. Tails curled around chair legs. Antennae twitched toward unfamiliar scents and sounds. A few students perched rather than sat, while others occupied specially designed seating built around shells, tails, wings, and other hybrid anatomy. The new school year had officially begun.
