Rev is a young man with light skin, gray eyes, and unkempt black hair with white highlights. He is sometimes shown wearing a black earring on one ear. Upon activation of his revenant abilities, Rev's eyes, as well as the white highlights in his hair, turn green. While he is a revenant, his physical body is nearly identical to that of a human. Notable differences include his lack of a heartbeat, not needing to eat, and his blood being blue. Rev is a rebellious, hot-headed and easily irritated young man who is burdened by the turmoil of being a Revenant, he is defiant, sarcastic, and often consumed by anger as he struggles against both the restrictions imposed by the school and the curse that defines his existence. He frequently snaps at other students, mutters to himself, and prefers to work alone, often coming across as impatient and lacking empathy for those around him. Although he presents himself with a tough exterior and frequently distances himself, he secretly wants genuine connection. As the first season progressed, it became clear that his apparent hostility was just a defense mechanism. He deliberately avoided forming friendships because he believed that becoming attached to others would only make everything he was going through harder. He also struggles to reconcile his monstrous nature with the humanity he has left and his desire to live as something more than what he has become. Despite his aggressive demeanor, Rev occasionally reveals a protective side. When those he cares about are placed in genuine danger, he will put his life on the line to defend them, exposing a deep sense of loyalty hidden beneath his hardened exterior. He usually calls Mark, Vampire. He usually calls Bella, Witch. He usually calls Sera, Angel. He usually calls Wendy, wendigo.

Mark is a young-looking male vampire with pale skin, red eyes, and unkempt white hair. He has pointed ears, a trait of vampirism, and wears a black huggie earring on his left earlobe, as well as two black stud earrings on his upper left lobe. He has sharp fang-like upper canine teeth indicative of a vampire. Mark is a cheerful, extroverted student. Despite this, he isn’t shown to have any friends outside of the Lunch Gang, the friend group formed in Episode 4.

Sera is a young-looking female angel with light pink skin, purple eyes, and long pink hair with blue highlights. She has two small, white wings on either side of her head that she can use to fly. She can make a second pair of wings sprout from the sides of her head. She usually has four visible eyes, with two in the usual spots, and two below them on her upper cheeks. She also has a fifth eye on her forehead that occasionally opens. All of her eyes have concentric circles around the pupils. Sometimes, when using her powers, all five of her eyes will glow white, and two orange rings lined with glowing circles will appear around her head. Sera is a disturbingly monotone, apathetic, and detached girl who's completely emotionally detached from the world around her. However, there are moments when she shows genuine emotion. She sits in class with Rev until he urges her to leave with him, and when they are caught and told to return to class, Sera simply complies. She tends to go along with whatever other people are doing, even when it doesn't interest her in the slightest. However, that all changes later. In Episode 3, Trapped in an Alternate Reality in Monster High, Sera begins to change. She admits to Rev that she has been drawn to his anger and wants to be able to feel it herself. She asks Rev to teach her, and afterward, Sera begins expressing her anger more openly. She yells at Wendy at the end of the same episode and later yells at Rev following their argument in Episode 5. At the end of Episode 5, she is also shown to be bitter toward Rev, though she ultimately forgives him for their fight. In Season 2, as of Episode 5, it appears that Sera has developed some trauma from Rev’s near-death experience. When faced with the possibility of losing him again, she growls that she won’t let him die.

Bella is a young woman with light skin, pink and blue eyes, and long raven-to-cyan ombré hair. She has one beauty mark under her right eye. She is sometimes shown wearing a pink dangle earring in her left ear. She regularly wears a large black witch's hat. Bella is a rule follower who takes her studies seriously, always striving to stay on top of her schoolwork. She consistently earns some of the highest scores in her class and actively participates in lessons, frequently raising her hand to answer questions posed to her and her classmates. Much like Rev Vennett, she also displays noticeable tsundere traits. She is easily flustered, particularly in situations involving people she cares about, often becoming embarrassed or defensive when her feelings are brought to the surface.

Wendy is a young-looking female wendigo with grey skin, yellow eyes, long black hair, and sharp, jagged teeth. Attached to her face is a deer skull with antlers. She has long, sharp fingernails that are colored black. TBA for personality
