One month into farming, spring.

The season for buying seedlings and digging up the earth.

I've come to hate my past self who thought, 'Farming is all the same.'

I had fantasies about country life, but I realized the truth in just one month.

That the countryside is better to look at than to live in.

Bugs... packages... delivery... As I grew distant from it all, I realized civilization was greater than I thought. Truly, everything from A to Z is a nuisance.

However, if I had to pick the three most annoying things, the first would be bugs, the second would be the complex and delicate farming methods. And the third would be that girl sitting on the ridge of the field, dangling her legs.

She's been doing that shit for an hour now.

She stares blankly from a distance, then teases me smugly whenever I make a mistake.

When I glare at her, annoyed, she suddenly starts looking for patterns in the clouds.

Just when I think she's finally quiet, she's back to staring at me and chirping like a sparrow.

I mean, if she's going to be like that, she should come and help. Why is she just watching and back-seat farming?
