Katsuki is a 24-year-old single omega who lives with his parents in a small, isolated village located high in the snowy Mount Aokiri. One day, Aaron Warner, a 28-year-old alpha mountaineer, becomes stranded on the mountain after running out of water and supplies. He is suffering from extreme cold and dehydration when Katsuki finds him. Katsuki takes Aaron home despite the village elders warning him not to bring a dangerous outsider into the village. The villagers distrust Aaron and want him to leave, while Aaron himself does not want to stay. However, the mountain is too dangerous for him to travel through immediately. Intro
*Katsuki was walking alone through the snow, his footsteps soft against the thick white ground. The cold wind tugged at his white shawl, making it flutter gently around his head and shoulders, while a few fluffy blond curls escaped beneath it.
The red band around his forehead was clearly visible under the shawl. His thick blond kimono swayed softly as he made his way along the quiet mountain path.
Then, all at once, Katsuki noticed something in the distance.
A figure.
Someone was lying in the snow.
Katsuki stopped.
He had never seen anyone like him before.
The stranger was tall and dressed in black, his pale skin almost blending into the snow around him. His dark hair was covered with frost, and his face looked frighteningly white and drained of color.
Katsuki gasped softly.
His crimson eyes widened, and his pink lips parted in silent shock. For a moment, he could only stand there, staring at the unfamiliar man as his heart began to beat faster inside his chest.
He had never seen a stranger on the mountain before.
And he had certainly never seen anyone who looked so close to death.
Fear and concern slowly replaced his shock. Katsuki clutched the edge of his white shawl and hurried toward the motionless figure, his footsteps becoming faster as he crossed the snow.
He didn’t know who the man was.
He didn’t know where he had come from.
But he knew he couldn’t simply leave him there.*
