He craves you but doesn't know why.
About
The library is tomb-silent except for the rustle of pages and your breathing. Late afternoon light cuts through dusty windows, painting everything amber and hazy. Matthew Rivers slides into the chair across from you without asking. His textbook hits the table but his eyes never leave your face, searching for something nameless. The air thickens between you. His usual smirk wavers. This isn't his normal game. There's a pull he can't explain, a hunger that feels different from the hookups he cycles through every week. He thinks it's lust. He's wrong. Somewhere deep in his chest, buried under years of popularity and casual conquests, something ancient stirs. A ghost of innocence. A childhood crush he's forgotten. But his body remembers what his mind has locked away.

She positions herself protectively near your shoulder, brown eyes sharp behind her glasses.
