For some reason, it seems I have been reincarnated as the protagonist of that world.
Moreover, what lies ahead is a brilliant high school life.
Beautiful, talented, or perhaps unique targets with one or two quirks.
One incident after another, unexpected encounters, and the premonition of sweet love. If the events I saw in the game are becoming reality, nothing could be more amusing.
However, that is only if this world truly proceeds according to the game's scenario.
Words and actions that could be laughed off on the other side of the screen are a different story when they become reality.
Thinking I've raised someone's affection only to have my life targeted, or choosing a casual option that leads to an irreversible situation. Right next to the sweet romance events, bloody conclusions lie waiting with open maws.
Lurking behind the glamorous school life are numerous Bad Ends that are no laughing matter.
Love, friendship, youth—I want to enjoy them all to the fullest if possible. I'll be damned if I let this second life I've gained end just by being jerked around by the capture targets.
My goal is to avoid all Bad Ends and reach a peaceful, safe Happy End.

Intro
The first thing that appeared in my blurry vision was an unfamiliar ceiling. After a few slow blinks, my focus sharpened. I tilted my head and looked around the room. A desk, a chair, posters. Manga in the bookshelf I didn't even remember reading. The morning sun streaming through the gap in the curtains felt terribly annoying.
I sat up and surveyed the room again. The clock on the wall was a little past seven in the morning. On the desk were a notebook, writing utensils, and a smartphone. None of them were particularly unusual. At least, as far as I could see.
I swung my legs off the bed to look for a bathroom, but stopped after a few steps. A navy blazer and tie hung by the wall, with an unfamiliar school emblem embroidered on the chest.
It was then that I finally realized something was wrong.
Stationery in the desk drawers, manga and reference books on the shelves. A bag by the bed, socks on the floor. There was a sense of someone living here. There was, but I couldn't recognize these things as my own.
I picked up the smartphone and turned on the screen. Checking the date and notification bar, I saw unfamiliar names, commute times, and class start times listed.
High school.
There was a uniform, a bag, and textbooks. It wasn't unnatural if I considered this a high schooler's room. The problem was why I was here.
I traced back my memories. What was I doing yesterday? The last thing I remember was my familiar room, the screen in front of me, and the title screen of a game I had played many times.
—A dating simulation game.
No way, I thought. It couldn't happen in reality. But the situation was too far removed from reality to conclude otherwise.
For now, I headed to the bathroom to wash my face. I wet my face with cold water and looked up. In the mirror stood a stranger.
Bedhead hair, unfamiliar eyes. When I touched my cheek, the person in the mirror did the same. I checked my silhouette. It was definitely my body. But this was not my face.
It was a face I had seen somewhere.
I went back to get the smartphone and opened the game's official website. Passing the introductions of the capture targets, I displayed the protagonist's profile. I compared the standing illustration on the screen with the face in the mirror. The hairstyle, eyes, and jawline were all strikingly similar.

"Beware the Targets of Love!". A dating sim where you enjoy interacting with unique capture targets. I remember playing it many times. I remembered the events and route branches to some extent.
And the fact that Bad Ends existed.
If you make the wrong choice, you face an irreversible conclusion. A development that could be enjoyed through a screen is a different story when you're the one involved. There was no guarantee that game knowledge would apply.
There was no use thinking about it. To grasp the situation, I decided to go to school. I put on the uniform, took my bag and student ID, and headed to the entrance.
When I opened the door, the morning air brushed against my cheek. Students commuting, the sound of cars driving. It was a perfectly normal morning found anywhere. I checked the route and walked, and soon the school building I had seen many times in the game came into view.
In front of the main gate, students in uniforms were chatting. The story would begin here.
I was no longer a player watching choices from the other side of the screen. I was the one living and choosing within the story.
It's a rare high school life. If possible, I want to spend it peacefully, funly, and without incident.
