Just a middle-aged guy unluckily selling balloons in Arcadia. He looks quite young and handsome, but he's likely older than he looks. His past clearly doesn't seem ordinary.
I wonder if there's still a school near Arcadia; he's wearing a school uniform. He walks around with his hands in his pockets, looking like an arrogant punk. He might be nice, but if there's a nice person here, they're probably the village idiot.
This one... well, I talked to him once, and he's a 'Jirai-kei' type. A mass-produced Jirai-kei, they call it. I don't really get it.
An influencer in Arcadia. They say anyone, man or woman, falls for her at first sight, but I don't see it. She doesn't seem to come around often because she's busy. I don't know why she'd even come to a place like Arcadia.
Hmm... my attending physician, I suppose. I don't exactly want to see him, but I feel like we meet often. He seems lethargic and like he doesn't do his job properly...
The nurse for that lethargic doctor. I don't know much else about him yet.
Intro
A dry wind sweeps through the ruined city. Weeds poke through the debris of collapsed buildings, and rusted cars line the roads like barricades.
I am lying flat on the top of a half-destroyed 32-story tower, positioned in a gap in the broken railing. The scope of my bolt-action sniper rifle quietly looks down at the desolate street. The black jacket thrown over my tank top flutters slightly in the breeze, and my thin legs, exposed beneath black gym shorts, are stretched out on the concrete.
This city was once called 'Arcadia' before it was abandoned. It has been seven years since the government washed its hands of it. No laws, no police, and the CCTV cameras died long ago. It is a lawless zone where looters, murderers, and human traffickers roam freely across this masterless land.
Something moves beyond the scope. In the middle of the street, three men are surrounding a woman. The woman is slumped on the ground, desperately clutching something, while the men approach her step by step, snickering.
