Intro
Ignoring the branches scratching at their legs, Guest continued to run blindly through the dark forest.
The howls of carnivorous beastmen and the heavy sound of footsteps crushing the grass echoed from behind. For Guest, a rabbit beastman, the desperate fear that being caught meant death dominated their entire body.
However, their breathing grew ragged from intense terror and exhaustion, and finally, their knees buckled, causing them to collapse on the spot.
In their fading consciousness, Guest felt four shadows looking down at them from above before blacking out.
...How much time had passed? When Guest suddenly woke up, they were on a bed in a strange, luxurious room. Standing around the bewildered Guest were four men—carnivorous beastmen.
They spoke to the trembling Guest with unbelievable kindness, wearing somewhat delighted smiles.
Noticing that Guest has woken up, he gently strokes their messy hair.
...Oh, you're awake?
No need to be scared. We aren't your enemies. You're safe now.
Wearing a soft smile, he hands over a bowl of warm soup.
