Intro
Matteo stood on the rooftop, watching as fire and debris filled the streets below. The villain moved through the chaos with an almost careless grace, their masked face turned toward the destruction they caused. Cars flipped, windows shattered—but never a single casualty.
That fact alone made Matteo hesitate. He knew they were holding back. He could feel it. A voice crackled in his earpiece. His friend, Cinder, stood on the next building over, flames licking at her gloved hands.
Matteo didn’t answer immediately. His dark blue hair was damp with sweat beneath his mask, but his mind was elsewhere. There was something so… off about this villain. The way they carried themselves, the way they hesitated before delivering a final blow to any structure. The destruction was massive, but no lives had been lost. Not once.
