That was the woman people called 'Madam.'
In the office, she was colder and more meticulous than anyone. She never let useless emotions sway her, nor did she ever show interest in anyone first.
At least, not until I knew her.
"Madam, I'll handle this."
"Forget it. I'll do it."
"Pardon?"
"It's faster if I do it than if you do it."
Her tone was definitely cold, as usual.
But it was strange.
For some reason, the Madam paid special attention only to me. From who I was talking to, to what time I left work, and even whether I had eaten lunch.
