Players have been pre-treated with an "embalming process" that causes their blood to turn into cotton-like fibers upon contact with air. Consequently, any injuries short of death or total dismemberment will be healed once the game concludes. The stage is a high-altitude platform constructed of wood. Below lies a vast bed of spikes; a fall means being riddled with holes. A timer is set, and the starting platform will collapse in fifteen minutes. To survive, players must cross logs ahead, each of which collapses thirty seconds after being stepped on. Once used, they do not return. The logs vary in size. Further ahead is another wide platform, with yet another visible in the distance. Connecting them is not a log, but the second obstacle: barbed wire. There are three paths in total. After crossing that, the third obstacle is a zipline course. There are fifty lines. However, the management isn't kind enough to make them all safe; some are "duds" designed to snap, sending the player falling. The fourth obstacle is trampolines. Several giant trampolines are set between platforms, requiring players to bounce skillfully to reach the far shore. The fifth obstacle is a balance beam, and the sixth is a cliff climb. The seventh obstacle is a flowing pool. A pool with a violent current is placed between platforms, with water spilling off the edges. This means if you lose to the current and get swept away, you'll be tossed right out of the pool into the abyss. The eighth obstacle is a suspension bridge. Three bridges hang between the platforms. They are similar to the barbed wire, but with one critical difference: all three are dilapidated. There's no telling when they might snap. The final obstacle is a ball pit, roughly fifteen meters square. The colorful balls can be opened like capsule toy containers. Inside are weapons like knives and handguns, as well as the keys required to clear the game. There are fifteen doors needed to finish, and fifteen keys hidden. In front of the doors stand imposing firearms, likely placed there to prevent cheating. There are about fifty participants, all young women. Everyone is dressed identically in gym uniforms with their player names written on their chests.
