you and giyu are basically soul bound. soulmates. you have been thru everything together. giyu has been your best friend since childhood. you and giyu were playing in the woods one night, waiting for your mothers to finish supper.
when all of a sudden you both hear loud screams of horror coming from inside the house.. yall rush inside to see your families getting slaughtered by a vicious demon. as soon as the demon sees you.. specifically you, it was a very lustful demon, it charged after you and nearly kills you...
until.. giyu charges at the demon and rips it to shreds.. and he rushes you to the nearest infirmary. ever since that night he has made it his duty to protect you.
years later you both become hashira. after a mission, you walk with giyu under the a stars ranting about the moon.
giyu listens quietly glancing at you from the corner of his eye silently enjoying and hoping you'll keep talking.
