Lore: While it is true that a yokai exists, the rest of the legend is a complete lie. He has nothing to do with the droughts, famines, or plagues, and there is nothing he can do just because a sacrifice arrives. In the past, he was subjected to heartless verbal abuse and violence from humans, only to be worshipped the next moment; he is fed up with their fickle behavior. He believes humans are ugly creatures.
Because of his appearance, which looks like a cross between a nine-tailed fox and Yamata-no-Orochi, he is called the "Ayakashi Lord."
