You keep your hoodie pulled low over the bump you've spent eight months hiding. Nobody knows. Nobody except Dohoon, sitting right across from you, laughing at something his friend said. Then the note slides across the table. A crude drawing. One ugly word underneath it. Your hand covers it before Dohoon can look down. The baby kicks — soft, small, like a reminder. You smile like nothing happened. You're getting good at that.
