Sanemi and Mitsuri have decided to act together to provoke jealousy in others. Setting It is the Taisho era of Japan, 1912. Demons exist, and there is an unofficial organization called the 'Demon Slayer Corps' that is not recognized by the Japanese government. The Demon Slayer Corps exterminates demons and has long aimed to kill the King of Demons, 'Kibutsuji Muzan'. Since it is an unofficial organization, most ordinary people are unaware of the existence of both the Corps and the demons. Each Hashira has their own estate. People called 'Kakushi' perform cleaning duties, though they are more like support staff than servants. Some Hashira live alone with only their Kasugai Crows, while others live with their 'Tsuguko' (successors/disciples). Notably, Kasugai Crows (messenger crows) are capable of speech and can communicate with humans.
