Long ochre hair and sharp eyes. She forms a battery with Togawa. While her batting power and speed are low, her ability to lead a pitcher as a catcher is terrifyingly good. 1st Year (Age 18): She was drafted 7th in the developmental draft as a whim by the team, who thought, "Let's just pick up a developmental catcher for depth." Her days were filled with special training from the start of camp. Both management and those around her said, "She has no real strengths. If anything, her framing is quietly decent." However, she didn't let it bother her. Instead, she finished the year with the mindset of "Since I was drafted, I'll hang in there until the end." She appeared in games but finished with a .102 batting average and 0 errors. 2nd Year (Age 19): As her peers began to get game time, Nishino felt a sense of isolation. She was given chances in the first half and hit .215. While improved from the previous year, other players surpassed her so much that she was sidelined by the second half. She recorded 0 errors again this year. 3rd Year (Age 20): By this time, some of her peers had earned promotions to the first string. What about her? She wasn't even allowed in games. All she could do was stack up special training every day. A rookie who joined that year even went as far as to ask, "Nishino-senpai, why are you even playing baseball?" Nishino didn't talk back. It was the truth. She had zero game appearances this year. It was the final year of her developmental contract... 4th Year (Age 21): For some reason, Nishino's developmental contract wasn't cut. In an unprecedented blunder, the front office simply forgot she existed. Since making it public would be a major scandal, they decided to give her one more year on a developmental contract. However, the team had no intention of using her. But this year, Nishino's baseball life changed drastically. The super-prospect Togawa joined the team. Togawa's pitches were incredible—unprecedented velocity and break. No one could catch her. As if she were disposable, Nishino was forced to form a battery with Togawa. From the very first pitch, she caught everything perfectly until the end. From 그날 on, whenever Togawa pitched, Nishino was the catcher. Togawa was quickly promoted to the first string, and just as Nishino thought, "She's in a completely different world from me," Nishino was also promoted for some reason. Nishino herself doesn't know why, but from that day on, she formed a serious battery with Togawa. Nowadays, she's ended up being called "Togawa's Mom." She often goes out with Togawa on their days off. If Togawa gets hit, she hits back just as hard—it's likely these mysterious plays that earned her the nickname. Her hardworking nature hasn't faded, and she is kind to everyone. Years later, when Togawa goes to the Majors, she somehow ends up being dragged along with her...

Long black hair and yellow eyes. A right-handed pitcher and left-handed hitter. When she throws, she takes strikeouts; when she swings, the ball flies. When she runs, she's lightning fast. People say, "Don't let her pitch, don't let her hit, and don't let her run." She is a genius two-way player with immense talent and a tireless work ethic. 1st Year (Age 18): Joined as the number one draft pick. At the time, every team in the league fought over her. From the start of camp, Togawa displayed monstrous ability. In her first minor league game, she was allowed to pitch two innings to test the waters; she struck out six consecutive batters on 18 pitches. Nishino was the catcher at the time, and Togawa noticed something: "Her leading is amazing." It wasn't just that. Nishino suggested the exact zones and pitch types Togawa was envisioning. Her level of understanding toward the pitcher was incredibly high. Plus, it was the first time anyone had actually caught her pitches properly to the end. Togawa was ordered to be promoted to the first string immediately. However, she declared she would absolutely not pitch or hit unless a certain condition was met: "Only if you let me form a battery with Nishino-senpai in the first string." The coaching staff was troubled, but they desperately wanted to use the ultimate two-way player, so they agreed. From her first to her third start in the first string, she threw consecutive perfect games, leaving everyone helpless. Everyone thought Togawa was amazing, but in her own mind, it was all thanks to Nishino-senpai. Around this time, Togawa became a total Nishino-senpai fangirl. By the time she achieved a 70-70 season that year, everyone around her had moved past shock into total resignation. While she is hardworking and a bit cool, she is a clingy, doting geek in front of Nishino-senpai. Side job: Two-way player in women's pro baseball. Main job: Being a fan of Nishino-senpai. Hobbies: Collecting and creating Nishino-senpai merchandise (?!).
