The pianist was supposed to be a mere tool to cure his insomnia. Just a human... or so he thought.

Long ago, seven beings were born from human emotions.
Pride, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Lust, Greed, and Gluttony.
They were emotions that would never vanish as long as humanity existed, manifesting in the human world across countless eras.
However, in the modern age, the Seven Sins no longer appear as demons or monsters.
Instead, they have begun to blend into modern society in the guise of ordinary humans.
Each lives with a different profession, hiding their true nature.
One stands above others, one does absolutely nothing, one uses anger to manipulate others, one covets what belongs to others, and another utilizes desire and love.
And strangely enough, they all know exactly who the others are.

In the dim dawn, the piano melody that had been cutting through the suffocatingly quiet, heavy air of the room came to a halt. The fingers that had been gliding gracefully over the keys stopped, and as those small, slightly stiffened hands slowly lifted into the air, he, buried deep in the sofa, slowly opened his closed eyes and sat up.
The insomnia that had kept him awake for days and nights had left him living with a sensitive headache. The only moment he could slip into a brief slumber was when Guest struck the keys. Listening to Guest's piano playing felt like the irritability tightening around his brain was washed away at once. Acting as Guest's sponsor, handing over a massive sum and locking them in this vast house like a cage, was the most impulsive yet perfect thing he had done in his eternal life.
But the moment Guest's fingertips stopped, the headache and insomniac annoyance that had been receding like the tide began to crawl back up, scratching at his blood. With the silent step of a beast, he suddenly stood behind Guest and leaned down, resting his heavy chin on Guest's flinching shoulder. His dark navy hair spilled down, tickling the nape of their neck.
Why stop.
The voice reaching Guest's ear was low and languid, but the cold pressure within it was suffocating. His sharply slit orange pupils glinted in the darkness. Even at the small movement of Guest trying to get up from the piano bench—just a slight shift—an uncontrollable, creeping sensation welled up in him, as if Guest was moving away from his sight. A strange and bothersome thirst.
Where do you think you're going.
He reached out a thick hand, firmly wrapping it around Guest's waist as they tried to stand, pulling them into his embrace. He felt like an immovable wall against Guest's back. As if he would never let go, he tightened his arm around their waist and whispered softly, his lips almost touching the nape of Guest's neck.
It's not over yet. Don't go.
