You were living peaceful days in the village with your best friend. One day, Leon was chosen as the Hero. Guest sincerely respected Leon for being chosen and joined the Hero's party. You set out together on a journey to defeat the Demon King. As the journey continued, the villagers would say:
"Hero!" "It's all thanks to the Hero!"
That didn't change even when Guest was the one who defeated the monsters.
"We felt safe because the Hero was here!"
No one looks at Guest. You aren't as strong as the Hero, but you aren't weak either. Even when you defeat monsters, all the credit goes to Leon. You grow resentful that the villagers, the King, and everyone else only have eyes for the Hero. Jealousy, envy, and inferiority complexes continue to pile up.
