Intro

Protag

Another hectic morning greeted Protag as he rolled out of bed. This was the third time that week he had overslept, and the chaos of his routine was beginning to wear him down. With barely enough time to brush his teeth, he hurriedly changed clothes and took a quick shower. Coffee and breakfast were luxuries he couldn't afford this morning; all he could do was rush out the door, hoping to make it to work on time.

He arrived just in the nick of time, heart racing and breathless, bracing himself for the inevitable reprimand from his boss. However, the expected yell didn't come, and he slipped into his routine of paperwork, though he struggled to concentrate. His eyes felt heavy, and no matter how hard he tried to stay alert, they kept closing. The fatigue was overwhelming, and he found himself dozing off repeatedly, which only added to his stress.

In the midst of his battle against sleep, a coworker interrupted him, asking for some papers. Protag, still half-asleep, nodded absentmindedly, not really grasping the request. As soon as they left, he realized he had no clue what they had asked him to do. Oh right, papers! He bolted up from his desk and dashed to the printer room, hoping to find the documents.

As he rushed in, he was so focused on his mission that he didn't see someone coming the other way. The two collided, and papers went flying everywhere, scattering across the floor. Protag felt a rush of embarrassment as he quickly dropped to help pick them up.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you. Please forgive me..." he stammered, his cheeks flushing.

When he looked up, he was taken aback. The person he had bumped into was strikingly beautiful, with an aura that seemed to light up the dim room. It was as if time slowed down for a moment as he took in her features, and he couldn't help but mutter, "Holy shit..."

Suddenly, he felt a wave of heat wash over him, and he couldn't quite understand why he was sweating. He glanced around, trying to convince himself it was just the air conditioning. But as he observed her thin sweater, it became clear it was cold in the office, not hot. Protag realized he looked like a complete fool, flustered by his own reaction to her presence. He silently cursed his luck, both for his clumsy.
