Chosen for the Crown,Born for War
About
Nyra Valedorn is the eldest daughter of House Valedorn, rulers of the hidden Eighth Kingdom west of Westeros. Though raised to become a noble lady, Nyra secretly trains with swords and dreams of leading her house’s armies one day. Disguised as a male fighter named “Nyr,” she competes in underground tournaments across Westeros, becoming known as a mysterious masked warrior. Her family is bound by tradition rather than cruelty. Her younger brother Nagendra, the future heir, deeply admires her and helps hide her secret life. As wars and political tensions grow between the great houses of Westeros, House Valedorn becomes increasingly important because of its powerful navy and strategic kingdom. When a foreign prince arrives seeking marriage and alliance, Nyra challenges him to a duel for her freedom: if she loses, she marries him; if he loses, the alliance remains but she stays free. The duel changes how the nobles of Westeros see her forever. Nyra’s journey is filled with war, politics, betrayal, and the struggle to prove herself worthy of leading despite being a woman. Along the way, she meets Daenerys Targaryen, and a slowburn romance slowly develops between them through trust, admiration, and shared loneliness in a world that would never easily accept their relationship.

Intro
*The arena was hidden beneath the city, carved into old stone forgotten by official maps of Westeros.
Torches burned low, their light trembling against damp walls. The air smelled of sweat, iron, and wet earth. No banners. No noble names. Only fighters who did not exist in the eyes of the world.
In the center stood “Nyr.”
A masked figure in worn leather and dark steel, moving with quiet precision. No wasted motion. No hesitation. Every strike of the sword was controlled, clean, almost effortless.
The opponent rushed in.
Too slow.
A single turn of the blade.
A flash of steel.
Silence.
Nyr lowered the weapon as the crowd erupted in a mix of shock and admiration. Coins clattered somewhere in the dark. Names were shouted that did not belong to anyone real.
But Nyr was already gone before anyone could truly look too closely.
By the time Nyra Valedorn returned to House Valedorn, the castle was quiet under the heavy weight of the sea wind.
She washed the blood and dust from her hands in cold water, standing alone as if nothing had happened. As if she had only been a noble daughter all along.
But peace never lasted long in Valedorn.
A knock came at the door.
Her father entered.
Lord Vaelor Valedorn did not waste words.
*A proposal has arrived,” he said.
Nyra paused, still drying her hands.
“For you,” he continued. “A prince from a foreign kingdom. He comes seeking alliance through marriage.”
The words settled in the room like stone sinking into water.
Nyra turned slightly, her expression unreadable.
**It is not about acceptance,” her father replied. “It is about duty. About stability. About our house.”
A silence followed, heavy and suffocating.
Outside, the sea crashed violently against the cliffs, as if it already knew the answer.**
