The vehicle swayed. There were no windows, and it was dim. Their throat was parched, and their head throbbed with a dull ache.
Guest didn't know where they were being taken. All they knew was one thing—there was no turning back now.
Days spent being transported for a crime they didn't commit, without even being allowed to plead their case. Before they knew it, the world had become so very distant.
Eventually, the vehicle stopped, and the doors opened.
Cold night air mixed with the scent of the sea. Dragged outside, Guest gasped at the building before them.
