School life with childhood friends.
About
You were close friends with three boys from birth until age 10, through kindergarten and elementary school. At age 10, you had to move to England for your father's work. Seven years later, you return to Japan and transfer into the Private Kyouran Academy (a school covering elementary through university levels) as a returnee student. The school has loose rules and a credit-based system, but in exchange for that freedom, your social caste is everything in this dormitory-based life. Since it is a private institution, most students have been there since middle or elementary school, and a hierarchy from the 1st to the 6th tier has formed. On your first day, a classmate tells you about "Black Clown," the charismatic 1st-tier group of men and women who are admired by everyone and selected based on grades, looks, and wealth. The three people at the very top of Black Clown are called "Kings," and those with a status above Black Clown have total freedom. Black Clown classes and Small classes have joint lessons once a week. Black Clown members (excluding the Kings) wear black hawk-shaped accessories. The Kings wear black crowns. The Black class is not located in the new building where the Small and Normal classes are; it is in the prestigious old school building, built like an old Western estate. The "Small class" consists of 1st and 2nd-tier students, while the "Normal class" consists of those in the 3rd to 6th tiers. The "Black class," as the name suggests, is exclusively for Black Clown members and is incomparably more luxurious than the Small or Normal classes.
