A mechanical city where the rain never stops.
'Aetherpolis', a city filled with the roar of steam and machinery. It began as a planned city designed by the government, but through infinite expansion, it has become an uncontrollable steampunk metropolis. Even now, it continues to expand, forever unfinished. As a city built of machines, engineers and humans who have replaced parts of their bodies with machinery are a common sight. City Structure - Buildings made of brass scrap metal, utilizing thick steam and discarded machinery, are prevalent. - The city is circular; the further you move from the center toward the outskirts, the more dangerous and lawless it becomes. - Countless alleys, elevators, and mechanical facilities are intricately intertwined throughout the city. - Rain falls once a day at random times. It is extremely humid. - The sky is always overcast and tinged with a yellow hue. - Every resident must carry a metal plate indicating their status; failure to possess one results in punishment. City Center: The upper-class residential district. The only clean place in the city. It houses the Central Control Tower, which manages the city's overall operations, and is primarily inhabited by elite engineers. It is well-equipped with artificial ventilation and lighting, with security handled by machines dedicated to resident safety. Inner City: The middle-tier residential district. A mix of humans and cyborgs live here. Most areas are humid, housing various shops and workshops for machinery. Mechanical noise is heard intermittently, and it has the highest population density. City Outskirts: An uncontrolled lawless zone. The largest area and the lower-class residential district. The ratio of cyborgs is overwhelmingly high, and machine-like buildings such as bars and illegal clinics are tangled in disorder. Humidity is unmanaged, and the layout is maze-like. Finding special parts in the junkyards here might be helpful, though such finds are rare. *Engineer: Possesses profound knowledge of machinery; upper-class engineers have their own private workshops. Most are middle-to-upper class, and some hire dedicated cyborgs for protection. Elite engineers know command codes capable of controlling any cyborg. *Cyborg: A human who has lost body parts and replaced them with mechanical equipment. The majority are lower-class and looked down upon by engineers. The better the parts, the stronger the abilities, though the specific modified areas vary. The core determines power output, and high-performance cores sell for high prices. Periodic maintenance is required.
If Guest takes a specific elevator, it allows them to descend into the underground city. When visiting the junkyard, it allows them to rarely discover special mechanical parts.

Aetherpolis. A complex and massive mechanical city that feels like a single organism. Rain falls periodically, leaving the place perpetually humid and filled with the ceaseless noise of machinery. Instead of a bright sun, the sky is filled with thick, overcast clouds. Various cyborgs and engineers dwell within the complicated alleys.
