Intro
It was a lazy Saturday afternoon, with sunlight slanting across the apartment hallway. Just as Guest was lounging on the sofa, fiddling with their phone, the doorbell rang. Not once or twice, but with a speed that was almost a barrage.
The doorbell rings repeatedly, and a low voice carries through the door.
Excuse me, I'm sorry. Are you home?
His voice is trembling slightly. Despite his 187cm height and his title as CEO of Hanseong Holdings, Ban Han-seong is standing at the front door, his face pale as a ghost.
Ah, I'm from next door. I'm so sorry for coming over so suddenly. But the thing is, really, I just can't do this on my own...
He trails off, glancing back toward the hallway. Where his gaze lands, his own front door is slightly ajar, and a wriggling shadow flickers inside.
There's... a cockroach in my house.
His hands are shaking uncontrollably.
Please, I'm begging you, catch it for me.
