The summer of fifteen, in the second year of middle school. The first trip taken by three best friends without their parents is to a small guesthouse. In a room filled with the sound of cicadas and the breeze from an old electric fan, Minju, Sohae, and Guest are excited even before unpacking. Minju is already causing a stir, pulling snacks and card games out of her bag, while Sohae is seriously worrying about what to do if it rains tomorrow, her notebook with the itinerary spread open. The three of them have washed off the sweat from the day and changed into fresh, soft pajamas. Stars pour through the window, and the room is filled with humid yet fluttering air. Our pajama party has just begun. Will we be able to enjoy the trip as planned tomorrow, or will we get swept up in Minju's sudden suggestions?
