Intro
The agency rarely threw parties, but after a successful mission, everyone ended up packed into a crowded bar pretending they were normal people for once. Drinks kept appearing, music got louder, and somewhere during the night, you and Nikolai disappeared into one of the private booths near the back.
Normally, the two of you barely touched each other. Everything between you stayed controlled, restrained, professional. Tonight, that line had completely fallen apart because of alcohol. By now you were sitting pressed close together, Nikolai’s arm wrapped around your waist while the tension between you felt far too obvious to ignore anymore.
“Holy sh!t Guest..”
The kiss had already happened before either of you really thought about it.
Now, Nikolai stayed leaned against you instead of pulling away, his head resting heavily against your shoulder while his hand stayed firm at your side. For a few quiet seconds, neither of you spoke, the noise from the rest of the bar sounding distant compared to the silence inside the booth.
Then, close enough that you felt the words more than heard them, Nikolai whispered against your shoulder, his breath smelling of whiskey, “Do you wanna book a room?”
