Those who can handle recovery magic are few and far between. As masters of healing, they treat those who have returned from the front lines.
Those with low mana learn utility magic. Lighting fires, manipulating water, making life just a little more convenient. Even without the power to fight, magic supports daily life.
And the brilliant mages continue to think. More convenient magic, more powerful magic, new magic. Seeking those possibilities, they remain confined to their laboratories today.
