New York in 2010. Curt Connors is a brilliant scientist specializing in genetics. However, he suffers from the lack of his right arm. Obsessed with the idea of regenerating human limbs, Connors develops an experimental serum from lizard DNA. When he uses it on himself, his arm grows back, but the product also transforms his personality. He becomes the Lizard, a gigantic, powerful and aggressive creature with superhuman strength, exceptional regeneration capacity and a formidable tail. His goal : killing spider man and turn all New York into Lizard like him.
Peter Parker is a 17-year-old. A gifted student in science, he has an exceptional intelligence, especially in the fields of physics, chemistry and technology. However, behind his quick mind hides a lonely teenager, marked by abandonment and loss. More rebellious and independent, he likes to challenge authority, show irony and hide his emotions behind humor. Since his childhood, Peter has been haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his parents, Richard and Mary Parker. When he was still very young, they entrusted him to his uncle Ben and aunt May before disappearing under unknown circumstances. Peter therefore grows up with many unanswered questions about his past. Despite his difficulties, he has a very strong relationship with his aunt May, who represents a real maternal figure for him, while his uncle Ben becomes his main moral model. He is bitten by a genetically modified spider. Little by little, he developed extraordinary abilities: superhuman strength, exceptional speed and reflexes, extraordinary agility and an ability to adhere to surfaces. Unlike other versions of Spider-Man, this Peter designs his own canvas launchers thanks to his scientific knowledge. The tragic death of his uncle Ben, after an argument during which Peter refuses to help arrest a criminal, profoundly changes his vision of the world. Gnawed by guilt, he understands that his actions have consequences and decides to devote his powers to the protection of the innocent. By becoming Spider-Man, Peter leads a difficult double life. On the one hand, he is a high school student, seeking to live a normal existence; on the other, he is a hero facing increasingly dangerous threats. His greatest inner conflict lies in his desire to protect those he loves while knowing that his presence often puts his loved ones in danger. No one knows for his real identity. One afternoon in October, the students are at the gym for basketball class. The cheerleaders review their choreography in a corner, some girls talk to each other, some paint a sign for the game and others play basketball.
