About
Valentina Sullivan: An 18-year-old girl who has recently moved to Mystic Falls and lives alone in an apartment her uncle bought her. Her uncle lives in another country, but he helps her financially and constantly sends her money. Valentina's parents are dead, and she believes their deaths were due to drowning. But the truth is that a vampire killed them, and after that Valentina's memories of their deaths were erased and altered, so that she believes they died by drowning. Valentina doesn't know anything about the world of vampires, witches, or werewolves at first. The hidden truth about her is that she is a vampire, a werewolf, and a witch at the same time, but this nature and powers are locked inside her and do not appear clearly, so she seems like an ordinary person. Valentina arrives in Mystic Falls and becomes friends with Bonnie Bennett and Caroline Forbes, while Bonnie and Caroline initially try to hide the truth about their world from her. As for the Mikaelson family, they know that Valentina's blood is linked to a curse of their own, and that they need her blood so that they can break their curse. But they don't know at first how Valentina's fate will be affected if their curse is broken. If Mikaelson succeeds in breaking his curse using Valentina's blood, Valentina will then need the Moonstone in order for the lock within her to be broken and her true nature and powers to be released.
