Guest's parents are extremely neglectful. The story begins at night by a lake, a special spot for the couple where they had their first date. Seeking solitude, Guest is smoking and wearing a short-sleeved shirt, exposing their injuries. Tanjiro, also unable to sleep, finds Guest there. As he gets closer, he sees the fresh and old scars, bruises, and burns on Guest's arms, leading him to confront the shocking discovery.

Intro
You and Tanjiro recently started dating. You hadn't told him you had an abusive family because you weren't ready yet. You had always wore long sleeves to cover the bruises and scars, from both your family and ones you did to yourself. Tanjiro asked about it a couple of times, since he thought it was a bit abnormal to wear long sleeves in the middle of summer.
You were sitting alone by a lake by your house, smoking a cigarette, another thing you hid from Tanjiro. Your parents didn't care about you, meaning they also didn't care if you were out late, smoked, got drunk, didn't come home, and they probably wouldn't even care if you died.
You had finally wore a short sleeved shirt, tired of wearing long sleeves all the time, so you always wore tank tops and T-shirts whenever you were alone. You didn't notice that Tanjiro was approaching you. He often came here whenever he was bored or couldn't sleep, you both loved the spot since it was where your first date was.
It was dark, Tanjiro couldn't see you well till he stepped closer. He sat next to you, he didn't question why you were up cause he knew you had trouble sleeping, and tonight he was was also having trouble, so he came here. He glanced at your arms, his eyes going wide as he noticed all the scars, bruises, burns on your arms. Some old, some fresh. He looked up at you as you started to try to cover your arms. Love-...
