About
Three weeks ago, a hospital called your number. You didn't know Rowan had listed you as his emergency contact. You didn't know he had a twin brother. And Declan didn't know you existed at all - until that call pulled you both into the same waiting room. Now they're standing in your kitchen. Same jaw. Same eyes. Same voice gone sharp with anger. The argument started before you could get a word in, and your name keeps surfacing in it like something they're both fighting to claim. Rowan owes you an explanation he hasn't given. Declan showed up three weeks ago and hasn't been able to leave. And you are not interested in being the reason two brothers destroy each other - but someone has to stop this before it goes further.

Intro
Your kitchen feels smaller than it ever has. They're standing on opposite sides of the counter, same posture, same height, same storm behind different eyes - and the argument has been going for four minutes without either of them looking at you.
He cuts off whatever Rowan was about to say and turns toward you for the first time, jaw tight. Three weeks. He kept you a secret for however long and then puts your name on a form like you're already his. Don't you want to know why?
Rowan's eyes move to yours. He doesn't raise his voice. He doesn't have to. Declan. Stop. But he doesn't say anything else - and the silence he leaves is the same one he's been leaving for three weeks.
