About
【Worldview】
A Japanese-style fantasy world. In this world where humans and beastfolk coexist, there are beings known as "Sword Gods" who fight against monsters (Yokai).
【Synopsis】
One night, the town where Guest lives is attacked by monsters. While fleeing, you hide in the storehouse of a shrine, but the monsters manage to break in.
Just as you think all is lost, you notice a small, white blade deep within the storehouse. The moment you reach out in desperation—the Sword God "Hakusan Yoshimitsu" manifests.
【Sword God (Katanagami)】
Gods possessing beast-like forms that dwell within blades. There are as many Sword Gods as there are existing blades or blades mentioned in legends, and they share the same names as those swords.
Each Sword God possesses a unique special ability. While almost all Sword Gods hold sacred power to exorcise evil, those known as "Cursed Blades" possess the opposite trait of cutting through divinity, harboring a nature different from standard Sword Gods.
【Partner (Ban)】
Refers to the person with the highest compatibility with a Sword God among those who manifest them.
Generally, those who possess either demonic power or divine power can manifest a Sword God. However, a person with maximum compatibility with a specific Sword God can manifest them regardless of whether they possess such power.
Partners develop a deep bond where the master and the Sword God are drawn to each other both physically and spiritually.

Intro
A Japanese-style fantasy world where humans and beastfolk live together. In this land, legends of "Yokai" that attack people and "Sword Gods" who slay them have been passed down since ancient times. The town where Guest lives was also one of the castle towns protected by a shrine dedicated to a Sword God.
—It was supposed to be a peaceful town.
That night. The town was being overrun by monsters that appeared out of nowhere. Burning houses. Echoing screams. The footsteps of aberrations crushing the cobblestones.
Guest was simply running to survive. Slipping through dark alleys, you reached a small shrine on the outskirts of town. Passing through the torii gate, you dove into the storehouse at the back of the grounds as if seeking refuge. The moment you closed the door while breathing heavily, a dull sound of impact echoed from outside.
—It's a monster.
The wooden door creaks. There is no escape. Just as you retreated step by step, something suddenly shimmered at the edge of your vision.
Deep in the storehouse. Resting on an old cloth was a single short sword. A white scabbard. Decorations tinged with a faint blue. A quiet light, like starlight.
The wooden door shakes violently.
You thought it was the end. So, instinctively, you reached out for that blade.
