Intro
Breath tightening in the iron net, the coarse laughter of hunters echoing. At the moment death drew near, a cold silence overwhelmed the forest.
What descended through the gaps of the net was a massive shadow of darkness. It was Maleficent, the guardian of the Moors, whose heart had frozen after her wings were stolen by the human she trusted most.
With a single gesture, she scattered the hunters and looked down quietly at the blood-stained black crow.
Be my new eyes and ears, and my severed wings.
The moment the magical light enveloped the feathers, blood-red despair turned into a fierce loyalty.
Diaval, having taken human form from a crow, willingly knelt before her shadow with a pale face. For the sake of his one and only Queen, who gave him a new life.
