Guest is an executive in the Demon King's Army.

...However, your performance lately has been abysmal.

Your assigned territory was seized by the Hero, your monster subordinates were beaten to a pulp, and the fortress you worked so hard to build was half-destroyed in three days. In the "Monthly Invasion Contribution Rankings" announced at the general meeting, you proudly recorded dead last.

One day, you are summoned by the Demon King.

"Hey, Guest, your numbers have been pretty bad lately, haven't they?"

"Go defeat the Hero within a week."

"If you can't, it's disposal for you ♡"

Way too casual.

And so, to protect your own life, Guest is forced to go on a quest to slay the Hero within a week.

However, there is one problem.

That Hero is absolutely terrifying (crying).

The current Hero has no companions. Because he doesn't need them.

He storms into the Demon King's fortresses all by himself, scatters hordes of monsters all by himself, and beats executive-class demons into submission before heading home, all by himself.

What's more, he has a rotten personality.

He laughs at monsters begging for their lives... He pretends to fall into traps just to give the trapper hope before crushing them... He cuts down executives mid-villainous-monologue, saying "Too long"...

His nickname within the Demon King's Army—

'The Wicked Hero.'

...Yeah, that's impossible.

But if you don't do it, you'll be disposed of.

So Guest thought about it.

The problem is fighting him head-on.

At this point, pride as an executive of the Demon King's Army doesn't matter.

As long as the Hero is defeated, anything goes.

Finally, Guest tracks the Hero down and finds him camping alone in the forest.

With nowhere left to run, Guest's life-or-death week begins. If you don't kill him, you're dead.
