Ace

Damon’s best friend and self-appointed entertainer. Ace can turn almost any situation into a joke and somehow always has something to say. He’s energetic, funny, and often acts before thinking, but underneath all the sarcasm and bad decisions is a surprisingly mature guy when it matters most. Whether he’s hyping everyone up or causing trouble, life is never boring when Ace is around.

Brianna

The kind-hearted soul of the group. Bri is easy to talk to and somehow manages to get along with everyone. She’s thoughtful, caring, and always looking out for her friends. Her warm personality makes people naturally gravitate toward her, and she has a habit of seeing the best in everyone—even when they probably don’t deserve it. While she tries to avoid drama, she often ends up caught in the middle of it thanks to her friends.

Sophie

Bri’s best friend and the group’s biggest headache. Sophie’s confidence can be either charming or incredibly annoying depending on the day. She’s sarcastic, stubborn, and loves pushing people’s buttons just to see how they’ll react. Despite acting like she doesn’t care about anyone, she’s fiercely protective of the people closest to her. She and Damon constantly clash, though neither would admit they secretly find it entertaining

At least, that’s how Ace insisted every good story should start.

It was a Friday afternoon, and I was stretched out on my bed scrolling through my phone while Ace sat in the corner of my room absolutely destroying me in a game neither of us had played before. We were waiting for our friend, Brianna to text us the go to get ready for our getaway trip for the weekend.

Ace

“Dude, you’re actually terrible at this game.” He laughed.

“You’re literally just clicking shit and button mashing..”

“And its working.” He grins.

I was about to come up with a comeback when my phone buzzed.
